I’ve just had the most amazing shoot with a wond

I’ve just had the most amazing shoot with a wonderful family — both teachers, one who has already left the profession and the other who is considering it.

And it made me want to pop on here and show you where I was six years ago. 🤍

Six years ago, I was in a completely different place.

I didn’t have a business plan.
I didn’t have a safety net.
I didn’t have any idea what was coming next.

I just had a bucket full of faith, a feeling that I couldn’t ignore, and what felt like sign after sign pointing me towards something different.

So I handed in my notice… and I left.

And honestly? I’ve never looked back.

Was it terrifying? Absolutely.
Did I have all the answers? Not even slightly.

But sometimes you just have to trust that little voice telling you that there’s something more for you.

Six years on, I’m photographing beautiful families, running my own little business and doing something I genuinely love.

So if you’re sitting there wondering whether it’s time to make a change…

Babies are at their sleepiest and naturally curl into sweet poses. Of course, we can shoot at any stage, but the early days give you those effortless shots.
That’s why it’s so important to book early to secure your spot.

No AI. No smoothing everything away. No making your baby look like anything other than the gorgeous newborn they actually are.

I’m carefully removing the little distracting bits, flakes, tiny spots and milky dribble, while keeping all that beautiful newborn texture and fuzz.

Because those tiny details are part of this stage too.

The soft skin.
The little fuzzy forehead.
The tiny imperfections.

I want you to look back at these photographs years from now and still see your baby, exactly as they were. 🤍

It takes a little longer, but I think those details are worth it.

This is why I edit every image with care, rather than just pressing a button. ✨
