Whilst I’m under no illusions – I know that what matters to you is that I will produce THE best, most beautiful, most magical photos for you - it’s nice to get to know the artist behind the camera, too. And make no mistake; good photography IS an art.
After my family, I live for art. I’ve been fascinated by photography my whole life! I graduated in Fine Art Textiles before completing my Master’s in Design Management, which has helped my ability to see stylistically. A corporate career followed, before moving on to something of a dream job - teaching Art and Photography in a high school here in the north west for over 12 years. Thus, you can rest assured that I am happy and confident when working with children.
I treat my photography as an art form, with all the associated learning, training, and developing my craft. I absolutely love to capture the most precious, never to be repeated, and once-in-a-lifetime moments, and I take that responsibility very seriously. My love and passion for my art show in my work, and I take pride in ensuring the results make YOU as happy as my work makes me.
Photography sessions seek to capture you or your children, or both, at your very best, whether in my studio in Wilmslow or out on location. I have a very natural photography style, resulting in timeless and contemporary classic images: clean, uncomplicated, candid photographs, so baby, child, or mum are the stars of the show. That uncluttered style and ethos are reflected in the Chapter Two Photography Studio.
When I’ve not got my camera in my hand – and to be honest, sometimes when I HAVE - I’m known as ‘Mum’ to two gorgeous girls. We love adventures, crafting, and ice cream… And shhhhh, after a long day, I also like gin! I can’t wait to meet you and create enchanting photos, and make memories to last for you.
